A raft of new products from Canon this morning, including the new EOS M100 CSC and several lenses
The new Canon EOS M100 features a 24.2MP sensor with Dual Pixel autofocus. It uses the DIGIC 7 processor, bringing improvements such as 1080/60p video capture and up to 6fps continuous shooting. Canon says this is the slimmest and lightest of the EOS M series yet.
The new Canon EF 85mm F1.4L IS USM is Canon’s first f/1.4 85mm lens, and pairs a weather-resistant build with up to four stops of stabilisation. It uses one large-diameter, high-precision aspherical lens and features a nine-bladed aperture for smooth bokeh.
