The Billingham 07 Series camera bag range continues to build on the success of the Billingham PressTop bags. The Billingham 307 camera shoulder bag features front tabs, leather colour and Billingham wands in the top. The bags are constructed from Billingham’s FibreNyte material, which is a 21st century synthetic alternative for traditional canvas and is much tougher and lighter, yet provides improved abrasion resistance. The Billingham 07 Series are also extremely waterproof, thanks to the polyester lining that is bound to the canvas using Billingham StormBlock butyl rubber. The Billingham 307 Camera Bags are available in two colours and three sizes.

Comments about Billingham 307 - Khaki FibreNyte / Chocolate:
First impressions o this bag suggest quality; it comes with a Billingham logo outer protective canvas sack. Second impression confirms the quality. If one is bothered by appearances, this does not outwardly look particularly like a camera bag but more like a smart walking bag. Under the quick release flap is a sturdy zip to seal the inner green compartment. When in use, I usually leave the zip open for ease of access as the flap provides enough security even hanging loose. The wide, padded canvas strap is comfortable.Inside padded dividers are secured by Velcro strips. They allow for four square pockets and a single flap that can be positioned anywhere. I found two of the pockets to be a bit small for fat lenses and flash guns. There is a permanent padded slit on one side to take a tablet computer but it would not take a lap top. The space also allows for a DSLR with zoom lens attached. I often leave some space vacant as the weight of camera and all lenses becomes noticeable on a long trek. There are two secure pockets under a secondary side handle flap that take filters, batteries and for me, camera instruction books.I am fussy about my camera bags, having tried various back packs, shoulder bags and waist holsters. They all have their place depending on where one is going and for how long though my previous shoulder bags proving frustrating because of their zip top design and intrusive top access flaps. This is the most convenient (and expensive) shoulder bag that I have tried.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The best camera bag you can buy
About Me Semi-pro Photographer
I bought this to get all my kit to a shoot and it was fantastic. Everything had a place, everything was very easy to get to.... and it looks the part! It is beautifully made, lots of attention to detail, totally built for a professional. I'm tiny so with all my kit in it was a bit heavy lugging back home but I did have two dslr's, a 50mm lens, an 85mm lens, flash, tripod, chargers, spare battery, phone blah blah blah, so anything would be heavy with all that in it. I felt rather proud of my bag, I think I shot better because of it!! If you are thinking of buying it buy it, don't hesitate, just pick the size that suits you, nothing else to consider with these amazing bags. I'm going to buy another smaller one for when I just need one body. I wouldn't use anything else now.

Let's start with the obvious. Billingham bags are not the cheapest out there. But they are great value as they are the Rolls Royce of camera bags. The 307 is just superbly built. It oozes quality and you know it will last for years. It is comfortable to carry (great shoulder pad) and provides easy and quick access to your gear when out shooting. It also offers great protection - from the elements and from being bashed about. It is surprisingly capacious considering it's overall dimensions. I can fit a D700 with battery grip and a 24-70 mounted, along with 2 or 3 other lenses, a flash and various other accessories. On top of this I can cram in a water bottle, snacks and a waterproof coat (albeit a lightweight one!).Being a shoulder bag I might not use it for a day out hiking as it is certainly less comfortable than a backpack for that, but as a walk around bag it is so much more flexible than a backpack, as you don't have to put it down to access your gear.Overall, if you want a stylish, well made shoulder bag that will last you for years to come then don't hesitate to look at the 307.
Quality with user in mind.
The high quality of this stylish bag is obvious as soon as you start to open it. Under the top cover you find an additional pair of grab handles so that you don't have to close the bag up to move it. There are a number of adaptable dividers in the well upholstered interior, with room for large cameras and lenses. I carry a canon 5d MKII fitted with the 24-105mm f4 lens and the 100-400mm inside the bag. I can also carry the camera and 100-400 fitted, but there is then only room for a small loose lens. There are two large pockets on the front and other slim line pockets inside for the usual extras. I carry it over my shoulder very comfortably. I have carried it in light rain showers with no ill effect. It comes with a five year conditional guarantee and a repair service. This is a great bag but its expensive.
