If your looking for a quality lighting stand this is it. This stand is as the description says portable, but that does not mean it's flimsy.The constuction is all metal, even the leg locks which is very important,as these get a lot of use. Even at maximum height(11ft)it's very stable,having said that, if you're using it outside,it's best used with a sandbag or two, especially if being used with a umbrella. Excellent stand and price.

Dont be fooled by the Description of the word portable which may make you think of lightweight and flimsy. These are well built heavyweight stands and will easily take the weight of pro studio flash heads and large softboxes. Ideal for indoor or outdoor work. I bought one at first then saw the quality then bought another two. Treat your head and spread your legs........ of your new stand.
