This is a great attachment for creating hard, contrasty light in a small ish area. I love it for portraits and occasionally use it for products too. A great piece of kit that can be modified with the optional extras, making one piece of kit a multi use item. downside that it does get hot when in use, but theres not much you can do about that really! maybe use some gloves!

Softboxes are great for lighting portraits but sometimes you want to look at an image that's a little more interesting than a portrait that's evenly lit. These Reflectors are great tools and can be used as a main, fill, hair or background light with Grids if preferred. The only downside is that I find the S Type fitting tricky to detach from the mount, especially when they're hot.
