I am just entering the realm of studio photography (I normally do weddings) and I was a little disappointed with this product. You can't tilt the arm downwards past horizontal and the clips are ridiculous. The clips are too close to the tightening screws meaning you have to fiddle and faff to use them. They are also really awkward to squeeze open anyway as there isn't enough leverage in the design. Good build quality, but really let down by the design. Just as well this is for the studio as anywhere else it would just be too fiddly to bother with. I wanted the Lastolite reflector arm but it was a little short on maximum length.
