The CamRanger Wireless Camera Control allows you to wirelessly control your Canon or Nikon digital SLR camera directly from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. CamRanger is a stand-alone device that connects to your Canon or Nikon camera via a USB cable. It creates an ad-hoc WiFi network that your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch can then connect to. The free CamRanger iOS app then enables control of the camera. The CamRanger is supplied with the following: CamRanger Wi-Fi router, mini USB cable (for camera connection), micro USB cable for charging via USB charger (USB charger not supplied), li-ion battery and CamRanger carrying case. Great device for my work as an architecture and interior photographer
CamRanger Wireless Camera Control
I use the CamRanger for all my studio shoots and can highly recommend. Although it's a little on the large side - I still love it!

Use it to review my pic in better res don't strain my eyes looking at a 3 inch screen was made for iPad brilliant! Can't think of any cons go get one you won't regret it
A must have for those dangerous places!
As an industrial photographer, CamRanger allows previously un-achievable access to images in places too dangerous to be standing in person... a brilliant addition to my photographic possibilities. Easy to set up, does as promised, works perfectly using my iPhone and iPad using the CamRanger app to operate a NIkon D300s and D800 with full camera control / live view.
Excellent piece of kit
Simple to set up, I've used it so far for macro stacking and bird photography. Integrates really well with the ipad.I'll add the motorised pan/tilt tripod head and controller once they're over here.
Awesome bit of kit!
This is a great bit of kit, well designed, pretty stable & a bargain price too.
Wireless unit new and older Nikon bodies
Extends usefulness of older bodies. Use with iPods, iPads android devices laptops no problems as yet. Except the jpegs need to be resized in camera to make sure they appear on devices.

The Camranger is a fantastic bit of kit. Not only can you fully control your camera in any mode from the wireless connection to your iPhone, iPad or smart device, Its easy to use the set up is so simple, just charge the wireless device via your computer and follow a few simple instructions. It has also opened up new possibilities of better composition, I have problems with my knee's and therefore can't get down low to compose a low angle shot, this is not a problem now as I just use the iPad screen to see my cameras point angle of view and adjust the camera on the tripod. You can choose your point of focus, aperture, iso, shutter speed, and view histogram with out touching the camera's settings. Your images are available to view on your device with in seconds.
