I have had these Binoculars for a couple of years now. They are larger than I would like when taking them on walks and as a result I have a smaller pari for walking. However I adore these for bird watching. with x18 magnification you get very close to the birds and this really increases the enjoyment, as well as making identification easier. There is no question that these are an excellent quality pair of binoculars. The stabilisation mode works a treat and allows you to get a clear view without jitters. All in all, if you want a powerful pair of Bino's which you won't be carrying around your neck for long, these are the ones to get.

Yes, if you are a Birder and photographer like what I am, weight and pairing back kit is always a problem and if you visit hides in Nature reserves where using a scope and a tripod would inconvenience others, then these are great, and the bonus is you get to use both eyes. I have also used them Whale watching from The Pride of Bilbao, for which they were superb.
