Comments about Canon BP-819 Battery Pack:

This battery is well built, charges quickly and has a good life. On the down side it is quite bulky and on the HF10 and HF11 video cameras, it does protrude from the back. This is not to the detriment of the usability of the camera; just looks ugly. I have not tried it in any of the compatible stills cameras. This battery is expensive but definitley required when using the HF10. It is therefore an essential purchase.
