This compact Canon product provides an excellent alternate charging option than having to use the camera itself, with its supplied AC adapter to recharge the battery. A spare battery to hand means one can charge using the CG-800, from AC mains whilst continuing to use the camera. Invaluable at events such as weddings or receptions, where you cannot dictate the pace!
