Canon Eyepiece Extender EP-EX15II

For the Canon EOS 450D, 500D and 1000D, the EP-EX15II Eyepiece Extender extends the camera's viewfinder by 15mm, thus bridging the gap between your eye and the viewfinder. This allows operation of the viewfinder without the needing to press closely to the back of the camera and is more comfortable to use. The viewfinder extender also reduces the image size, which can be useful in assisting composition.

Having fitted the extender to my Canon 450, I was impressed by the qualityof the internal lens and the fit to the existing mount.
The extension does just what I wanted it to do, i.e it keeps my nose from continually putting marks on the viewing panel !

I bought this item on the basis of trying to get my nose off the clean 3" LCD screen on my 500D. It certainly does that, however the draw back is that the projected image is reduced in size by some considerable amount. So much so, that i am currently debating to go back to the original set up.
