I have been searching for photo paper that will produce results closest to the feel of prints from my youth - from a professional laboratory (in the days of film). This is precisely that. It has the smooth, almost satin back with manufacturer's watermarking, and once printed (on a Pixma Pro 9000 II) the front is rich, heavy, glossy, and perfect.

At nearly 45p per small sheet, it isn't a cheap option, but is a top quality product, and worth choosing for family albums and anything you want to archive for the long term (the stated lifespan is in the order of decades to centuries).
