The Canon TC-80N3 Remote Switch with an 80cm cord functions as a self-timer, interval timer, long-exposure timer, and has an exposure count setting feature. The remote timer can be set anywhere from 1 second to 99 hours. A dial enables you to easily enter the numeric settings with a single thumb plus the LCD panel can also be illuminated for ease of use in poor lighting conditions.

Excellent remote control which is essential when taking long exposure shots. The built in timer and time lapse functions are useful additions and intuitive to use.

This is a solid bit of kit.

This is solid bit of kit. This may seem funny for a piece of electronics but it gives you confidence. However like everything else you need to study the slim manual. Normal remote can be relegated to backup

It does what it says on the box
About Me Getting started, Hobbyist/Enthusiast
I did a night shoot as part of a photography course. It was quite cold, with a bighting wind, and my hand was shaking as I held the shutter release on a 2 min exposure. I glanced at the guy next to me, who was using one of these, and he was eating chocolate waiting for the timer to operate. That was when I decided to buy one. It is so easy to use I just cannot imagine being without it.
Buy this again and again
I'v used this for macro and landscape
