This should have been supplied with the lens. Very expensive but it is precision made excellent quality and easy to change from horizontal to vertical very smoothly.

This ring should be supplied with the lens. It is a cracking piece of kit, just annoying that you have to pay through the nose for something that is essential to a macro lens.

I really baulked at the price but eventually my need overcame my reluctance to spend so much on an accessory that should be included with an 'L' lens. Having now received it, it really is a well-made piece of kit and I can see why it costs so much. Having said that, I still think it should be included in the price of an 'L' lens.
