The Canon WFT-E5B has been designed specifically for the Canon EOS 7D to transmit images from the camera to a computer without the need for wires or cables. This allows for a more efficient data transfer process and genuine remote capture and linked shooting capabilities. Great for sports and news photographers the WFT-E5 unit will allow rapid transfer of images to an access point and out to a picture desk. Studio photographers will enjoy the ability to see previews of their images on a large screen by transmitting JPEGs to their computer. Comments about Canon WFT-E5B Wireless File Transmitter for EOS 7D:

This is a good piece of Kit the interface is easy to use . I use this in conjunction with a Mitsubishi Click IT 500E and a D Link, this did require a bit of product specific knowledge. I could not use the EOS Utility Function with this equipment so I had to use FTP Transfer Protocol. Luckily I know an IT Guru who helped me set it up . I have used this in the Studio and on an Outside event without any major problems. The Transmitter does eat batteries so you will need a few to keep you going, apart from that nothing to worry about.
