This is a great case given the cost, I don't think it is tough enough to use as a flight case though it is small enough to use as carry on luggage hence only four stars (I wouldn't want to check my more expensive camera equipment anyway).

I use mine for storage as I use a back pack and belt pack combination for daily transport (more suited to wildlife photoprapy).

These cases hold all my spare equipment, cameras, lenses, flashguns, leads, etc along with a few packs of silica gel (no moisture, no fungus - can't be too careful).

I bought an epsom digital projector and the soft case that came with it did not offer enogh protection. This case fits the bill perfectly and for the price is excellent. You can also use the case to stand the projector on whilst giving the presentation.

I bought the Clubman Aluminium Case AL18 by Clubman to store and transport a DSLR camera with its most useful accessories: lenses, battery grip and charger, extension tubes, flash, etc.. Pick and pluck foam makes fitting even the most tortuous shapes easy and keeps them secure. The locks are functional, but basic and there is no brackets to allow the fitting of a padlock. A shoulder strap is provided, but I find the handle comfortable enough for normal transport.
Similar cases I've had in the past had an insert under the egg-box foam in the lid to store manuals, notebooks, software disks (so I know where to find them!), etc. This would be a useful addition. It would also be useful if the case were 2-3 inches longer as I had to double stack several of the accessories.
However, these are personal quibbles! The construction is solid, the locks useful in deterring little (and not so little) fingers and the foam, if properly sculpted, will keep delicate equipment of any type, safe and sound.
For the price it represents good value for money.

This is a light but robust case. The foam can be arranged to fit equipment of any shape and offers great protection.

Bought to store SLR 35mm & digital cameras in a school photography department. The students are really proud to get the cases out and the subject has become 'cool': helped by the smart appearance of the cases. The individual spaces for the cameras encourage safe return of borrowed kit as well as clearly obvious manner of storage for students to see.
