If offers a unique super short flash duration up to 1/6000 s when the RQ A-Head is plugged into the Ranger Quadra super fast channel B. Set S is for general use such as portraiture and landscape photography with a standard flash duration, meaning it isn’t as fast as set A. To remember, think of set A as ‘Action Freezing’ and ‘S’ as ‘Standard’.
