East to read instructions. Put the batteries in, set up my studio flash and it worked immediately without any glitches. A good budget wireless flash

Have been using a similar system to this but kept having problems with the Antennae. Have used these on a few weddings so far without any problems or missfires even out of 'line of sight'. To early to tell how robust the antennae are on these but the units seem quite durable. These units do not work in ettl mode so you have to adjust flash output manually via the flashgun controls which is really quick when you get used to it.

I now have two sets of the "Flash Wave Radio Triggers", One for each of my studio cameras. They are reliable and lightweight. They are not affected by nearby radio interference and do away with trailing leads to the studio lights. I reccommend them without reservation.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I was wanting to upgrade my triggers that came with my studio lights I spent about four weeks reading reviews on all makes, but I kept coming back to the flash waves that seemed to do everything that I wanted and the same as more expensive makes on the market; pound for pound you cannot beat these. Good range and the ability to add upto 16 channels and also to use as remote shutter control
