Giottos MH631 Sliding Quick Release Adapter Plate

The Giottos MH 631 Large Quick Release Platform i It features 2 bubble levels, with a plate that is supplied with removeable 1/4" and 3/8" camera screws, and a spring loaded video pin. Storing the unused camera screw directly on the assembly is allowed by 2 threaded holes on the side of the quick release. Ideal for converting tripod heads without quick release systems. The assembly comes equipped with a long MH611 sliding camera plate designed for macro positioning, and features a safety button limiting the amount of sliding on the quick release. As an option, a 5.5" long plate is available as well.

great attachment to use for buying into a cheap way to use for accessing nodal point of lens (therefore better panoramic stitching results).simply slide camera/lens combo along and works for smaller length lens ie canon 450d kit is lens. need tripod and head and this just screws into standard tripod fitting.
solid and well made.
