The Gitzo GT5542LOS Series 5 Ocean 6X Systematic Tripod is a carbon fibre, 4 leg section professional tripod built for performance and durability. Precision-tooled aluminium parts have a corrosion-resistance finishing, while specially redesigned leg collars on the 6X carbon fibre legs protect each section of tube against sand, dust and mud, and expel any water trapped inside tube sections by working as an air cushion. Even in extreme environments, the GT5542LOS is quick to set up and use, thanks again to the Ocean G-Lock system, which requires only a quarter turn to lock or unlock each leg section. The GT5542LOS is a modular Systematic tripod, with a flat centre disk that can be interchanged for centre columns, levelling bases and other components designed for specific applications.
