Basic stuff, but I can see how it might be quite useful for showing someone how to improve outdoor portraits with the minimum of equipment.
Very clear instructions - which makes a change.

As other reviewers have said this is just a guy taking some photographs of models outside. People getting started in portrait photography can find much more useful advice on the Internet for free. Sadly I just cannot find any reason to recommend this product at all.

I have returned the product. It is aimed at outdoor glamour model portraits. I had expected something more useful for the average photographer, perhaps more on the lines of studio lighting.

You need to be thinking of taking up this type of portraiture professionally and be prepared to spend a lot of money on kit to get the best from this DVD.

No use for studio work.

This dvd will give you the confidence to go out there and start taking great portrait shots with off camera flash in next to no time. Great clips and fine examples of different styles of outdoor portrait work! At that price it's a must buy!

i got this free with a flashgun, just as well because it didnt tell anything you cant read in magazines. I expected to learn more about the flash but all it told you was where to position a flash with umbrella, also thought it was amature quality, looked as if it was a home movie!

This DVD looked promising from the packaging and the description.
The content is fairly poorly put together and instead of providing tips, i spent the best part of an hour watching somebody taking photographs with very little interaction with the viewer.

Uzair has a great reputation and delivers Nikon UK training courses, so I was keen to see what he had to offer on this reasonably priced instructional DVD. His presentation style is wooden, he gave a couple of useful tips but overall I thought the content was disappointing. My mine concern, there is no link between the final images and the on location shooting. In my opinion, it wrongly gives the impression of turning up, shooting a few photos and getting stunning professional images. Guess you get what you pay for!
