Comments about Hoya 67mm HMC UV(C) Filter:

We all know that quality lenses like the Canon L series are not cheap, so it is important to take care of your equipment and one of the best ways to protect the lens glass is to use a filter. I recently purchased the Hoya 67mm HMC UV(C) Filter to use with my EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, this type of filter not only protects the glass but also gives UV protection.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Hoya 67mm HMC UV(C) Filter:

I have always used filters to protect my lens from all external elements. This also reduces the need to careful cleaning of the glass of the lens. This inexpensive filter from a well known brand serves the purpose and also gives uv light protection to reduce haze and glare.
My previous experiences with HOYA filters have all been positive. They are great built and will stay with the entire life of my lens.

Comments about Hoya 67mm HMC UV(C) Filter:

This filter was purchased for the sole reason of remaining on the front of my Fuji s200exr for constant protection and the clarity it would produce.

          IT IS A PERFECT COMBINATION.

The cost of equivalent manufacterers 67mm filters and also the excellent service received from Warehouse Express were also a major factor with the choice of the HOYA brand and their multicoated range performance.

          Best Price on the net!

          By RocketBlower1

Comments about Hoya 67mm HMC UV(C) Filter:

I was looking all over the internet for a Hoya UV Filter, mainly just to protect my lens from any scratches or blemishes through use. Many other sites and shops were more expensive just for the standard filter, and here its £16.99 for the HMC version (the better version).

Great price and as Hoya's products are, great build quality. Under £20, reduces haze and glare, and protects your lens for life!

Comments about Hoya 67mm HMC UV(C) Filter:

I use this as a protector for the vulnerable front element of my Canon 100mm IS macro. More expensive filters may have higher optical quality, but I can't tell any difference between results taken without a filter, and results taken with this inexpensive Hoya product. I always use it in conjunction with a deep lenshood, so I cannot comment on how it deals with flare if sunlight hits the filter.

Much better than a damaged front element !
