A basic UV filter, but very suitable for general lens protection. Thin enough to not give vignetting on my ultra wide 11-16 lens. Fairly firm fit, good for the price.

I decided to go cheap when I was buying a UV Filter for my lense as for protection, what I found is that the filter works wonders it does what it says on the packet.

Easy to fit on the lense and hood for lense also fits on perfectly.

Now with all ultra-wide angel lenses there's always going to be vignetting this can be fixed in any program that supports raw photo files, but the filter only slightly adds to the vignetting and gives a diserable look to some photos.

The build quality for the filter is brilliant and the reflection that comes off the sun is not at all bad as long as it is kept clean.

I would recommend this filter for anyone who needs a cheaper than the higher quality make of filters.

I buy a UV filter for every lens I purchase. It makes sense - you spend a thousand pounds on a lens why wouldn't you spend under [$] on a filter to protect it. This is a nice little filter- cheap and good quality (and from a respected brand). I've used it in extremely bright conditions and the photos have been stunning.
