Comments about Interfit INT410 Flash Meter:

I have had this for about 2 years and as above the battery does not fit very easily into the housing, with a bit of fiddling around you can get most batteries in but it is a real squeeze. The build quality is not great and a bit of a disappointment. Metering is pretty good, the on off button is a pain and turns on when in the pouch, my one I have to take apart on the odd occasion to get the buttons to line up again with the micro switches inside as the build quality is so poor.
Come on interfit get shot of the Thai factory and and give us something of good value and quality what we would expect from you.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Interfit INT410 Flash Meter:

Interfit claim the battery for this is an MN1604. However, most don't fit. The problem is that the battery compartment is only 16.5mm deep. The international standard is 17.5mm thick for this type of battery. Mallory batteries are usually 17mm thick while the Pro version is 17.5mm. This means you can't close the battery compartment cover. Again the length and width of the compartment makes the standard battery size a very tight fit. Interfit's unacceptable advice is to use a cheapy battery which may be thinner than the standard. But why should we? They expect us to buy lots of different battery makes to try out which fits. The standard has been defined since 1959 and Interfit have no excuse for producing a product that is not as specified or fit for purpose. It's a great shame as apart from a few other niggles this is a useful meter. It measures a 1/3 stop out compared to my Sekonic L-758 but it is pretty much consistent. There is supposed to be an adjustment for this, but I;ve never found it. Another problem is that the ON switch is too easy to switch on and tends to switch on by itself even in the case, which wastes the battery although the meter switches itself off after 2 minutes, but I've still found it ON when removing it from my gadget bag. If Interfit fixed this battery problem then I would recommend this, but as it stands now, no way.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
