Sony/Minolta cameras do not have a standard Hotshoe on the top of the camera which means you are not able to fit many useful accessories like standard Infrared triggers, radio triggers etc so you will need an Interfit Strobies Sony/Minolta to Standard Hotshoe Adapter Sync Jack to enable their use. Most of the Sony / Minolta range of cameras also do not have a PC Sync cable socket so this adapter also inludes one of those to enable you to use this with a range of studio lighting kits.

As Sony DSLR's have a non standard hot shoe, you will need an adapter to use radio or infra red flash triggers.

This device does the job brilliantly and at a very competitive price.

Slide it into the camera hot shoe and your flash trigger will fit on top, simple.
