Superb piece of kit, small and lightweight, yet incredibly sturdy.
Really useful piece of kit.
About Me Casual user
Gorillapod can be used just about anywhere.Have tried using it with slr and 70-300mm zoom lens, really stable. Will be easier to align camera when I get an adjustable head fitted.

Excellent Portable tripod
About Me Hobbyist/Enthusiast
Great for long exposures and landscapes when you are travelling. Also great for quick pictures as much faster to fix/mount this than your full size tripod. Really needs a ball head adapter to get best use out of this (the Joby one is great)
Just the job!
About Me Semi-Professional

Bought it for a recent holiday to Menorca to take family group shots - worked well and compact.

About Me Professional
An almost excellent product.... On the positive side, it grips well - even on a smooth, tubular surface - I should make clear, however that I was using the gorilla pod to mount a GoPro - well below the 3Kg limit. The one thing that knocked the shine off was the fixing that secured the camera (or other device) to the gorilla pod. It is a flat, thin, slotted screw-head and it makes it awkward adjusting angular position of your camera..
Works well but needs upgrading
Generally, it is a great addition to the 'odds and sods' kit... One thing would make it even better... the securing method needs to be made so that you don't need a screwdriver or coin to adjust it...
