LaCie 2big Network 2 4TB Hard Drive

So far so good. I've got this drive about six months ago. It was easy to install. It works well, just as advertised. It's pretty rich feature-wise, runs cool and quiet. I love that it can be accessed remotely. Good buy.

The transfer speeds over the network are decent. The drive is very quiet. Overall, I think this is a great product.

I wanted to protect my work files and decided to buy a reliable solution for data storage and backup. I've chosen 2big Network 2. This is a very powerful RAID-array that consists of 2 disks, 2 TB each. Flexible settings allow me to switch from RAID 0 to RAID 1. I've decided to stay with RAID 1 mode for the moment. Now all my data is safely backed up on one of the two 2TB drives and then synchronized to the other one. The device itself is well made, the aluminum enclosure is very solid and looks sleek. The drive is a bit heavy but very reliable and quiet.
