Lastolite 1m Umbrella Box - 8mm Stem

The Lastolite 1m (40 inch) Umbrella Box is very simple and quick to assemble, fit and use. Its unique lighting effect is achieved by first bouncing the light off the back of the Umbrella Box and then diffusing it through the coated diffuser panel. Simply insert the flash-head reflector into the Umbrella Box and close the zipped openings for a quick set up. It is lightweight and compact and designed with a universal fitting to fit most flash heads. This 8mm stem version is for use with all heads except Elinchrom and Prolinca.

It is very quick to put up (like a rain umbrella!) and it works well with a speedlight. I use it with a tilting head on top of a light stand. The tilting head has a hole for an umbrella. It lit a child full-length OK.
