I used to use the previous model...well bought some years back which I found flimsy compared to this. They've improved the design greatly, I'm really pleased.

The design is simple, straight forward to set-up and folds away to very little. That said however the stands themselves are of poor quality (both my stands broke in different places within 6 months, the metal cast is extremely vulnerable) and they are not the most stable when you have a big cloth background stretched out at full length. I must point out though, what I received is nothing like what's pictured.

I would recommend getting something a little better and unless portability is paramount, get something a bit more heavy duty.

I borrowed one of these from a friend last year for a series of shoots but have now bought my own. They are really easy to use, you can arrive in a clients house and be set up to shoot in 5 minutes. The variety of backgrounds available means that anything goes. The best bit is that it all folds down back in the case and fits easily in your boot. Magic!

a very portable piece of kit that immediately renders a professional touch to pictures, especially portraits. simple to erect, packs down quickly, get the accessory clips to make best use of it.

I'm relatively new to using this product so I need a little bit more time with it to adjust to the aircushioning etc.

It's highly portable and comes in a very durable bag which makes my job easier and any assistants job easier too.

It's a shame that the twisting knobs are so close together as it is problematic sometimes.

It goes up high and wide enough for what it's made for.

This is relatively light weight and can easily be carried in the supplied hard-wearing bag. There are only three parts to this system but the best part of it is the material/paper support bar; it's a telescopic twist grip locking & unlocking, three section bar which is very strong and can extend to approximately 10 feet.
This product is extremely portable. My experience is limited as of yet due to my recent purchase but I find the upright tripods "Air Cushion" use a little unusual but does not detract from it's overall value - I just need a little time to get fully acquainted with it.
