The lighting stand is of very good build quality, and supports light to medium weight flash heads with ease. All the sections, hinges, tightening bolts are reassuringly strong for my flash heads.Its at home in the studio as well as location and its surprisingly light weight too, which is important whilst on location.

Bought this for a mobile set up for filming on a DSLR. The main use was for holding a filler light and I required a stand that locked downa dnstrudy but light enough to carry with a tripod and other accessories.

The Pneumatic is actually pretty good. with weight on it its reliable and should prevent the finger pinches we are familiar with.

For its price its a great stand and reliable especially for mobile units.

What a great stand. It's not heavy but has a reassuring weight to it. It gets a little wobbly at it's full height, but what do you expect at three metres. The turn locks on each section or strong and secure. When extending, the sections come out smooth with no grinding.

I originally bought this as part of an Lastolite Umbrella kit, and didn't realise that the stand would be pneumatic, which is great. If for some reason a section lock came undone you can be assured that what ever you have attached to the stand will not slam down hard on it's way down.

Well worth the costs, and has loads of uses.
