Comments about Lastolite Telescopic Crossbar:

I recently bought a black vinyl background to predominantly use for taking family portraits at home. Vinyl is great as it is resistant to creases and tearing and is also easy to clean. However, it is very heavy compared to your standard paper roll backdrops.

Because of this, I bought a heavy duty background support system. However, upon attempting to assemble, I realised the background pole was too wide (3 metres) to fit in my living room and was excessively big considering the vinyl background was only 2 metres.

I did a bit of research and came across this Lastolite background pole and have to say it fits the bill perfectly and I couldn't be more pleased with its build quality and ease of use.

You can find photography backgrounds in varying widths, so I find it especially useful that I can adjust the length of the cross bar to accommodate most lengths of paper, muslin and vinyl backgrounds.

Overall I would highly recommend this product - it's simple to use and built to last.
