I've done some tests with this on a tripod and it is exactly 3 stops yet causes no colour cast whatsoever. At this price I intend to store it very carefully in my bag as it will clearly break if dropped or bent.

Since I bought my Lee 3 stop ND, it had mainly been used in the studio to reduce the light from my Elinchroms to give less depth of field.
The filter is totally neutral. Try using a cheaper filter to do the same job and colour accuracy goes out of the window!
It will be permanently in my kit, beautifully protected inside its cleaning cloth and padded pouch. Expensive, but you're worth it!

It's a Lee 3 stop filter. You can't go wrong, it's neutral and it's Lee. For me much more durable than the resin filters so gets a top recommendation from me. I scratched a resin filter the first time I used it and although made of glass this filter can take a lot more abuse. Just don't drop it...

The first one i bought slipped from the holder and broke, i briefly thought of replacing it with the cheeper resin ND Filter but i love the results you get from this filter.

Excellent 3 stop glass filter - comes wrapped in a cleaning cloth and a nylon pouch.
Extremely good results and no colour casts like some resin filters, even when stacked.

Upon receiving the Lee ProGlass ND0.9 I was amazed at how well packed it was, This being essential as its top notch glass. This is a piece for those who love to emphasizing movement in there work, weather it be blur on peoples actions or making that windy lake look clam and tranquil. The pro glass ND 0.9 will reduce the light by 3 stops so in non ideal lighting conditions these results will be achievable. I apply this filter to 60% of my work and I can say that there is no colour casts, its like it wasn't in front of the lens. Great product, Cheap Price.
