Lowepro Flipside 200 Backpack - Black

A well built bag and could fit a lot in it.....if I didn't have the 5D Mark II. There is just enough space in the bag for the body/24-70mm lens/flash/charger and maybe a prime lens. It does protect the camera well and has a very well thought out design (such as the soft area where the screen will sit and rub against).

It is very comfortable to use and I absolutely love the fact the zip is on your back to keep your precious camera and equipment from thieving hands (walking around london and getting the tube this is a very good idea) Not so sure about the tripod support. I have a very small manfrotto and worry it could bounce out of the hold but I don't think it would fall on the floor.

Also like the way you can re-arrange the compartments inside.

Overall, this was a great purchase and was much as I expected, being a fan of LowePro after many purchases over the years. It is compact, well made and is a very good piece of design. Camera equipment is stored well, access is good and it is very secure with the zips against your back - very difficult for anyone to help themselves in a crowded place. This is just the right size for an 'urban' day trip. The only down side is there is not much room for extra things (e.g. papers, guide books), so you might want to go for the 300 rather than the 200, or the Fastpack series if this is an issue. But, overall an excellent product at a great price.

It does what it says and for me fits the bill.
I wanted a compact sac and I liked the idea it opened up on the back. It was difficult to assess from the blurb if I could get all the items in that I wanted. It holds the camera (7D) with a medium sized lens on, one long lens and a 50mm plus there is a small bag (removable) for bits. I have a separate bag for the square ND filters and if I want to take the flash I have to leave out one of the lenses.
The build quality is good and the bag reasonably comfortable to take about. I would notuse this bag on a long trek over hills and mountain anyway.
The flap does not open up completely at the bottom ( presumably to stop anything falling out when opening up). The compartments are easy to adjust. The side pockets are tiny and will not accept a water bottle, but that is clear from the start.
