Lowepro Pro Runner 450 AW Backpack - Black

quality camera backpack, perhaps better for travel/trekking than general use

As a lifelong hillwalker I thought I knew about backpacks, so I put off buying one of these for long time, thinking they were a bit over-priced for what they are - after all I've got three excellent hill-walking rucksacks and I chose them carefully. Well, I was wrong.
This is an excellent backpack that really makes a difference. Somehow, my DSLR and its lenses and flashes and tripod and other stuff have come to weigh what seems like a ton in any other bag. But not only does this bag swallow it all, it protects the individual items and distributes their combined weight in a way that allows the bag to seem lighter than it really is once it's up on the back. The loaded pack is not only comfortable to have on, it is comfortable to keep on, even with a heavy tripod on the outside.
Nice one, Lowepro - wish I'd bought one sooner.

Very Please with this bag

this is an excellent bag - and when i brought it i was an excellent price.

From the moment i got it i loaded up my Manfrotto tripod (a big one) and went walking and it was secure and comfy as the weight was distributed evenly over my back and with the body clips - everything remained in place.

There is room inside for all of my gear - literally everything (3/4 lenses, camera with lens, cleaning gear, cokin filters, polaroid camera and films)

bottom line excellent product
