I use this bag while taking motor racing pictures for the BTCC and Mini Challenge series, it holds 1 Nikon with a 80-200 f2.8, A spare Nikon body, both with battery packs, 3 additional lenses and a Flash gun. It holds about 6 additional cards,spare batteries, plus will hold a laptop or gives space for paperwork programmes etc. Catches a great and the slip lock loops allow expansion for bottles etc.

I bought this bag especially for a photo trip to Iceland. I was careful with my choice in order to get my gear in and have the right size for check-in baggage.

Halfway through the week a main buckle shattered and I had to tie the main shoulder strap to the bag with a knot. Two days later the sternum strap popped off making the bag very uncomfortable to carry.

I have still have a Lowepro bag which I have had for years and no buckle or strapping has ever failed.

Lowepro have offered me a replacement but I am reluctant to take a another example of a poorly designed bag. I selected 'storage' as the best use for this bag as clearly, in my experience, it is unreliable for travel

I bought this to replace the Lowepro fastpack 100 because of a Sigma 150-500mm purchase and the Vertex houses that easily 'on camera' in the centre section as well as my 70-200mm & 18-70mm down the sides with still more room for 2 more lenses. The lid has plenty of storage space for things like filters etc and leads. I like the front zip pouches and on one side there's room for 2 spare batteries. A great protective bag for my Nikon D300 and complete kit.

Unobtrusve for check-in staff and takes two bodies with 200-500 tamron and 24-85mm attached plus 70-300 and additives. What more do you need? The Laptop sleeve is a bit redundant for me given the capacity of memory cards these days, but have used it for a bottle of scotch in a hydration pouch.
