Gretag MacBeth Colour Checker White Balance Chart Further Details
The chart uses colours defined by the Munsell Lab in New York, and consist mainly of highly saturated, lightproof, matte colour swatches. To expand the colour gamut, a few glossy swatches are also included - these are the primary colours of blue, green, red, yellow, magenta, cyan, black and white.
Reference values on the CD are averages with a tolerance of DeltaE < 1.0, measured according to ISO9001. As with all test charts, users should avoid touching the coloured patches and avoid exposure to light (except when in use), high temperature, high humidity and chemical fumes.
Depending on use, it is recommended that you replace your ColorChecker DC every 2 to 4 years to ensure correct colour identification
