FREE Manfrotto 804RC2 Tripod Head worth £54. The 4 section Manfrotto MN190CX PRO4 Carbon Fibre Tripod combines great compactness and improved rigidity with maximum height. It is extremely light weight and includes professional features such as the patented Q90° centre column system for quick vertical-horizontal movements, an integrated levelling bubble on the magnesium top plate, 100%
carbon fibre tubes (including the centre column) and magnesium die castings. The 190CXPRO versions have the patented quick centre column system, that now uses a tri-faceted
100% full carbon fibre tube, magnesium die castings and magnesium top plate with an integrated levelling
The advantage to this is weight and rigidity, allowing for the highest possible reduction in weight while maintaining an extremely rigid and strong tripod set up.
One of the core pillars for Manfrotto is design, with the 190CX there has been no exception made. All the locking, lever and main castings have been redesigned to allow not only for a beautiful product, but also granting ergonomic improvements as well as lightness and reliability.
The 190CX incorporates the use of 100% carbon fibre tubes for the legs and the centre column. All the central castings are made out of magnesium adding to the over all light weight and performance of the tripod.
Much like the aluminium 190XPROB the new 190CX has the innovative Q90° (quick centre column system).
The CX PRO versions include now the new tri faceted 100% carbon fibre tube slides with ease from the vertical to horizontal position, giving it the XPRO’s famed characteristic.
Manfrotto incorporates the new 3-layered rounded 100% FULL CARBON TUBES including a central column for improved rigidity and lightness.
The 190CX incorporates new angle selector levers that have been designed to improve ergonomics and the over all feel.
The top plate has also been changed. The PRO versions new magnesium top plate now incorporates a bubble to aid in levelling the tripod and camera. It also has been highly refined to create a very appealing design that also reduces weight.
The new ergonomic locking levers for the legs have been completely redesigned to improve the functionality. They are much easier to operate and become a seamless element of the tripod.

Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 Carbon Fibre Tripod
from Hedon near Hull
smaller than 3 segment tripod but the lowest legs looks and feels thin to be stable. Not used if possible!
Small, light, flexible and stable
I moved from a 3 section aluminium 055 series tripod to this 4 section carbon fibre 190 series. It's just as stable for my Olympus OMD EM5 but is much smaller and lighter, which makes me far more inclined to take it out with me.It doesn't go as high as the 055 which isn't a problem for me at 5'7" but could be a consideration if you're taller. The 4th leg section looks very thin but I've had no problems in use. While I'm sure an 055 is technically a superior tripod, the smaller size, lower weight and reduced bulk of the 190 work better for me, especially when out hiking and travelling.
Strong yet Light

About Me Semi-Professional
I use the tripod for landscapes and for macro work at home. It is lightweight which makes it ideal for carrying on trips. Once erected which is smooth and easy it becomes very stable and is very strong. It is possible to hang something weighty on it to give more stability. I have often used my bag. The legs allow the tripod to lower to almost ground level. Overall this is a great tripod with which I can not find fault

Super light Tripod
I use this tripod for Wildlife Photography, and I do a lot of walking, so the light weight of this tripod is a great bonus.

Bought this tripod to replace an old, heavy one which i had carried for ages. The Manfrotto is fantastic, well constructed, lightweight and easy to use. The tripod provides a really stable platform for my DSLR and large lenses and i just wish i had bought one ages ago!!
I would recommend it to my friends

You Get what you pay for !
I was somewhat sceptical about going for a tripod that cost over a £100.00 however that scepticism changed when I got my hands on the 190CXPRO4 not only is the carbon fibre strong, its light weight 4 section is easy to handle, and it oozes sheer quality that you expect from Manfrotto, its a tripod you would want to own, and have in your kit, and with the matching 80 cm manfrotto bag its the ultimate piece of kit, with spirit level, magnesium alloy catches, you can't ask for a better tripod, [...]money well spent, you won't regret it.
A top class tripod

Excellent tripod. If you need a good tripod, it is probably the best investment you could make.
from Tyne and Wear
The 190CXPRO4 is really light in weight and compact great for when you are treking about with it strapped to your backpack. A big difference from my other tripod a Manfrotto 055XPROB which I must say is still a good tripod. It is also shorter which is an added bonus and for the price its a steal.
