The Manfrotto Pocket LED Light is the smallest of the range. It’s ultra-light, compact but still with the quality output of the professional panels at 5600°K sunlight. It’s tailor-made for the new interchangeable lens cameras and compact cameras with video capability and is designed for close up work. The Pocket LED includes a flash attachment at the bottom and a bracket in order to attach it to cameras without a hotshoe connector. The light comprises of 12 LEDs and is powered by one AAA battery (not included). It can also be used as an add-on light, stacking it to the Midi/Midi Plus and the Maxima. More

Comments about Manfrotto ML120 Pocket LED Light:
A really bright little LED bank that you can fit straight to your hot shoe to free up your hands etc. I've used it for some close up portraits with great success. I always keep it in my pack, as on night shoots doing long exposures, star trails etc, this little light is super useful. If I lost/broke it, I would buy again without hesitation.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

A Handy little light
I got this as a freebie with a tripod. I didn't realise that this is basically a iPhone 4/4s case that comes with a big light to stick on it so you can make yourself look ridiculous. I don't own an iPhone so the case is redundant to me, however the light itself is really useful. it has a little screw on the bottom that lets you mount the light to your hot shoe. Ive also found a way to mount it to a tripod. This is great for macro work and any low light situation. the light itself is really bright but gives a good more natural light. (I got this for free but I'm reviewing as if I bought it now.) The light is really flimsy it's not going to fall apart any time soon but it seems really cheaply made. If I paid full price for this I would be disappointed. The iPhone case however is built like a tank and in my opinion looks nice it's a shame the the iPhone 4 / 4s is a bit outdated now hence why I don't have one any more.Bottom line. If you get this as part of an offer it's great but I wouldn't buy one so I'll say No, I would not recommend this to a friend

A Perfect Portable Light Source
A versatile light source. I have used with it clipped on hot shoe to cast more light for close up/macro. It is also ideal to pop onto a light stand/tripod in a studio when photographing table top size objects.

Pocket LED lamp
This is an excellent piece of kit. It does the job very nicely but I have found mounting it on the camera is not very successful. What is much better is to place it elsewhere in the room, maybe halfway between the camera and the most distant object (or person in the case of a long table with people sitting around it) to give more light in the distance than close by where the flash often provides more than enough light. This LED is not a flashgun, so it needs to be turned on before lining up to take the picture so different positions can be tried to find the best lighting effect. Added features that would be useful would be a suction cup that fits into the base of the unit so that it can be stuck to a hard surface, or alternatively some kind of a stand. Also an input plug with the ability to connect a photoelectric trigger to it so that it lights up in response to the flash rather than subjecting people to a long period of staring into the bright light that it produces. Nevertheless a very good and very useful piece of kit that is small and light and easy to use.

An ideal form of additional lighting on my Canon G11 and very compact for travelling. Better than a small flashgun.
