Easy to fit and Velcro strap for fixing to pole or legs is useful. Nice wide and comfy strap.

Having bought this strap to use with my Manfroto 190xproB tripod i have to say that i was quite disappointed with it.
I usualy carry my tripod over one shoulder and vertically down my back to leave my hands free but the weight distribution of the tripod with ball head and the positioning of the strap attachment points makes it want to hang horizontaly so it won't stay where i want it without constantly having to reposition it or hold it in place with my hand.

Just to make things worse, the padded section slides freely on the main webbing strap and encourages the tripod to slip on the shoulder and is frankly pretty useless in it's current form. If the padding were attached permanently to the webbing then perhaps it may be improved a little and grip the shoulder well enough to stay put.

Not really up to Manfrotos' usual high standard of good design and execution of their products.
