The optical system has been constructed from German Schott Glass with M*-multi-coated lenses and, along with the MinoBright silver-coated mirrors, provides a superb light transmission with high levels of detail and sharp contrast. The Minox HG 8x56 Binoculars offer an 8x magnification, while the multi-layer coated 56mm objective lenses ensure the viewed image is bright and clear. The sleek design and strong magnesium housing is filled with Argon gas to keep the fog and corrosion free and waterproof to 5 metres. In addition, the innovative QCF focusing now makes it possible to take exact distance readings from a scale on the focusing wheel, an often looked for feature on binoculars, but one that Minox have brought to life.
