Beautiful screen - the cheaper option

Best Uses

I've seen these NEC spectraview screens at trade shows over the years and always wanted one.

Finally bit the bullet and reviewd the difference between the multisync and the spectraview reference screens.

The only difference I could see between this and a specraview is that the specraview comes with the branded i1Display colour calibrator (and screen hood) ... and as a result costs an extra £500 or so.

If like me you already have a screen calibrator then you can save yourself a fortune by using the multisync with your calibrator and save a fortune.

Mine came today and I used it for about an hour before switching to AdobeRGB and calibrating it.
Stunning is the only words I can use to explain how clear and accurate it is.

On a down note, I've seen some reviews where they critisised the limitation of connectors (DVI only).
I picked up a cheap(£2.50) DVI to HDMI converter in case I want to use the second port.

It costs a lot more than the DELL Ultrasharp, but it's a better screen in the end. If you're happy with 95% of this quality, but at 2/3 the cost then the Dell may be a better compromise.
