Smart Photo Selector: always gets the best shot. Shoots up to 20 high-resolution images before and after you release the shutter, then saves your “best” five for you to choose from. Images are recommended based on facial expression, composition, and focus.
Creative Mode: apply filters and effects to still images before you shoot, and access PSAM shooting modes for total control. Enhance the mood with Soft Filter, capture sweeping views in Easy Panorama and enjoy a world that’s always perfectly lit with Night Portrait mode.

Nikon 1 Short Movie Creator: automatically creates short films from your photos and movies. Incredibly easy-to-use, it preserves the quality of every photo or frame of footage you shoot. Movies can be up to 30 minutes long, and there is a range of styles to choose from.
*¹ For full-size images, you can shoot at approx. 60 fps for up to 12 frames, with focus mode set at AF-S; focus and exposure for the first frame is fixed.
*² For full-size images, you can shoot at approx. 10 fps for up to 13 frames.

The Nikon 10-30mm Lens
The Nikon 10-30mm f3.5-5.6 VR 1 Nikkor Lens is a portable and lightweight lens designed to fit the new Nikon 1 series interchangeable lens cameras. It's equipped with a 3x zoom (35mm equivalent: 27-81mm) and is capable of capturing everyday scenes with ease as well as wide-angle shots such as landscapes and group shots. The Nikon 10-30mm lens is built with a Vibration Reduction (VR) stabilisation system which reduces camera shake and is suitable for hand-held shooting in all lighting conditions. The Nikon 10-30mm lens is also packed with a STM motor for smooth, quiet and fast autofocus operation.
The Nikon 30-110mm
The Nikon 30-110mm f3.8-5.6 VR 1 Nikkor Lens is a versatile, compact lens perfect for the Nikon 1 series and features a 3.7x zoom range (35mm equivalent: 81-297mm). Equipped with Vibration Reduction as well as smooth, quiet autofocus operation, the Nikon 30-110mm lens is ideal for still and HD movie shooting. The smooth aperture mechanism lets you move easily from sharp to soft backgrounds to allow the subject to stand out, even when shooting a movie. The Nikon 30-110mm lens is perfect for shooting candid portraits and distant subjects with ease.
