The Nikon 550A S Laser Range Finder offers a measurement range from 10m/11yds to 500m/550yds and is switchable between metric and imperial units. In addition, the 550A S provides horizontal distances, height, angle and vertical separation (difference in height between two targets), as well as the actual distance measurement function. The results are displayed on both an internal and an external LCD panel, with the external panel showing all results simultaneously. It offers 2 measuring modes via its Target Priority Switch System - First Target Priority, which displays the distance to the closest measured subject (useful when measuring the distance to a pin on a green with woods in the background), and Distant Target Priority, which displays the distance to the farthest measured subject (useful when hunting and forestry). The Nikon 550A S Laser Range Finder is waterproofed against rain and brief exposure (less than 10 minutes) to a water depth of 1m and will function in temperatures down to -10ºC. More
