The Nikon Laser Forestry Pro Rangefinder is the next model up from Nikon’s Rangefinder 550, offering a measurement range from 10-500meters (11-550 yd) and is equipped with a new three-point measurement capability. This newly added function enables a user to obtain the height of a tree even when the top or base of a tree is blocked by branches or bushes, preventing the use of conventional separation measurement where the laser beam is required to reach those points. The easy-to-use Forestry Pro enables measurement of actual distance, horizontal distance and height. The results are displayed on both internal and external LCD panels, with the external panel showing all results simultaneously.
