Nissin Di622 MkII Speedlite - Canon Fit

Picked up 2 of these to use as a portable lighting solution, so far very pleased with them.

Flashgun is so much better than the pop up flash the Nissan is great value for entry level photography. Still need to learn how to use it to its maximum potential though!

I bought this flashgun in a hurry as I needed an extra one quickly for some off-camera work and the price was excellent. I have had reliability problems with another model of Nissan flashgun in the past but I am cautiously optimistic about this one. The exterior build-quality is very good - it is a pleasure to handle. Tested in ETTL mode it emits the same amount of light in identical conditions as my other (Canon) flashguns and in manual mode it works perfectly off-camera with radio triggers. For on-camera use I have found that I do not miss having a rear LCD display - the basic buttons on the flashgun are quite adequate and, of course, the flashgun output can also be modifed from the camera's own menu.
On the whole I am very pleased with this flashgun. It is a pleasure to use due to its feel of quality and in terms of lighting it does what it's meant to do. It also comes with a very handy foot to stand in as most quality flashes do nowadays. My only disappointment is the lack of a quality padded case or wallet - something which other quality flashguns do come with. It did come with a rather flimsy and slightly too small cloth bag - I don't think I'll be using that.

Its a pretty good flash unit for the money, VERY EASY power up and down mode. I just love it. got PY SYNC socket build in so its one of the best 3rd party flashs i seen and used to make money
