The Olympus 9-18mm ED f4-5.6 ZUIKO Digital Lens (35mm equivalent focal length 18-36mm) is a super-wide-angle lens offering a 62° angle of view. With its compact and lightweight design the Olympus 9-18mm lens is very portable and makes wide-angle photography, such as landscapes, much easier to achieve great results in.
To use this lens with the Olympus Micro Four Thirds System cameras the following adapter must be purchased. See below.

Comments about Olympus 9-18mm f4-5.6 ZUIKO Digital ED Four Thirds:
Its the light weight coupled with the usual fantastic performance of zuiko lenses that makes this a budget winner. Ok its not going to win prizes for speed but if its landscapes that are your thing I cant recommend this lens highly enough.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I had the 11-22 but wanted something lighter and wider for travel photography and interiors. This lens is everything I hoped for - compact and light, no complaints on performance, seems every bit as good as the 11-22. Maximum aperture on the small side but the lens would be bigger if it wasn't. The combination of attributes is almost unique.

A long awaited addition to the Zuiko range. Much cheaper and lighter than the alternative 7-14mm and 11-22mm lenses. Ideal for parking in a day-sac for occasional landscape and architectural shots. This lens handles well though like the kit lenses (14-42mm & 40-150mm) manual focusing ring is tight and difficult to operate. The bayonet is metal, unlike the kit lenses, and in my example it binds when being fitted (ie it is marginally too tight). This isn't a problem with any of my other lenses or bodies.
