Offering the same features as the original Rainsleeve this version has been designed to accomodate a hotshoe mounted flash. It offers protection for camera, lens and flash unit in all types of wet-weather conditions. Featuring an eyepiece opening that allows viewing through the actual viewfinder, rather than the plastic, and a drawstring enclosure that accomodates any lens up to seven inches in diameter and fourteen inches in length the Optech Rainsleeve - Flash is an ideal choice for mid range zoom lens combinations such as 75-300mm. Supplied as a pack of 2.

Easy to use. Does what is designed for
Sort Of Rain Sleeve
By stephen b
I was a bit disappointed when I found I couldn't get it to fit over my camera with the 17 - 50 lens and my flash, i use the sigma SD1 Merrill with the lens stated and the EF610DG Super Flash Gun, the only way I could get the cover on was by putting a cut up the back of the rain sleeve to get it to fit, as for working in wet conditions yes it is good and gives you some protection, not as much with having to put a big cut up the back but enough to give some protection. So maybe i was just unlucky I think if my flash was smaller it might have fitted over but not really sure.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Cheap, and good for an emergency
About Me Professional Artist
Not the best built, nor the most functional rain protection, but very good value and extremely compact to carry. Useful thing to have in your bag for an emergency deluge.

About Me Photo Enthusiast
Great addition to have in your bag, light so you don't notice them but comforting to know that you have some protection for your kit on your travels. Takes up little room and easy to use and of course good value for money.

Not had chance to fully test these yet as the event that I brought them for got cancelled. They do however look like they will do the job. They do fold down very small and pack away nicely even into the smallest of camera bags.

About Me Semi-pro Photographer
Not the best protection but more than adequate if you get caught in the rain. Good value for money, takes up little space and is light.
