Comments about Opticron Universal Mount:

The opticron provides a really firm stable camera mount. It is fully adjustable and the panhead locks tightly. it is really easy to use.
It is improved to the point of perfection by paying out for the optional quick release plate and shoe.
The universal mount is much easier to carry about than a tripod and can be clamped on to virtually anything.
Can't really fault it on anything
