This lens is really good for taking pictures in low light situation without a flash, I'm able to take quicker shots in low light, the pictures come out bright with no blur since I'm able to use faster shutter speed.
I'm using Lumix GX1.

This is a superb walkabout lens, although it is only a little smaller than the kit lens, it is small enough to carry round in a large pocket,.
The image quality is superb, and of course its is a fast f1.7 lens ideal for low light.

This is a great lens for street photography and makes the camera much easier to carry. It also gives the camera a much improved low light capability. I doubt whether I shall make much use of the kit lens now.

There is some minor vignetting at full aperture but this is easily remedied in a decent photo editor.

I bought this to go with my new Olympus OMD-E5. It's a great lens, very sharp and very small, allowing the camera and lens to fit into a (reasonably sized) pocket. The quality to price ratio is excellent.

Bought this lens to go with my PEN Mini (E-PM1). It virtually lives on my camera now. It has better image quality than the kit 14-42mm lens (though that isn't a bad lens by any means), and can be used wide open with great results. The 20mm has transformed my indoor and low light photography, I rarely use flash any more. The focus speed isn't lightning quick like the newer lenses (including the 14-42mm) and is noisier, but it isn't bad and is much quieter than most of the lenses on my E-3 DSLR. The focal length is the equivalent of 40mm on full frame and is great for general purpose, walk-around photos and group shots, though you will get some distortion if you frame single-person head & shoulder portraits. Highly recommended as the first lens to buy if you want to improve on your kit zoom lens.

I bought this to use on my G1. It has excellent sharpness and the best resistance to flare of any lens I have used. You can shoot straight into the sun and it copes magnificently. Manual focus was extremely unpredictable and unreliable until I upgraded the firmware altlhough this wasn't listed in the bugs fixed by this upgrade - definitely worth upgrading the firmware on this lens. The only area where it performs badly is light fall-off, vignetting is quite a problem if used at maximum aperture.
