Nano Surface Coating
Panasonic's Nano Surface Coating technology is adopted to minimize the reflection at entire visual light range (380nm-780nm) by applying the extra-low refractive index coating with nano-sized structure on the surface of the lens. It results in the super clear picture with dramatic reduction of ghost and flare.
The Power Optical Image Stabiliser
The POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabiliser) which is integrated in the LUMIX G X VARIO 35-100mm / F2.8 / POWER O.I.S. effectively compensates for not only small, fast movement but also large, slow one making it easy to shoot super clear shots even in low-lit situations such as in night time or indoors.
Superior focus system
It incorporates superior inner focus system, which enables excellent resolution and contrast. The inclusion of stepping motor makes the focusing action smooth and silent for use in both photo and video recording. When mounted on the cameras of LUMIX G, users can take advantage of the high-speed, high-precision Contrast AF system. Designed to stand against splash/dust with a rubber ring on the lens mount, the sophisticated metallic-finished look of this lens suits the profile of stylish camera body of LUMIX G.

About Me Hobbyist/Enthusiast
Comments about Panasonic 35-100mm f2.8 LUMIX G X VARIO POWER O.I.:
I have a full frame set up which I wanted to carry with me all the time.i really tried, but it was too heavy. I tried reducing the amount of kit that I carried, but it was still heavy. I was eventually taking it with me less and less.I tried to put together a holiday kit, but I was weight restricted to one camera and one lens. My wife suggested that I buy a smaller camera for holidays and that restarted my enjoyment of photography. I have bought into the micro four thirds system and now I carry my kit with me everywhere. The quality is excellent and the kit is a joy to use.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Impressive but expensive
By NZ Biker
Really nice lens with sharp output and impressive image stabilisation (especially after the firmware upgrade to v1.3) in combination with the GX8Added bonus is weather protection and sturdy build quality - pretty expensive though.
Good lens to complement the 12-35
Very happy so far. Complements the 12-35

About Me Semi-Professional
Until Olympus launch their 40-150mm F2.8 next year this is the only game in town if you want a fast, long zoom, M4/3 lens.Image quality and handling are excellent and the weatherproof build quality is first class. If you use it on an Olympus body don't forget to disable the body IS as lens stabilsation (which this lens has) is more effective on longer focal lenghts than in-body stabilisation. It may be a little pricey but it's worth every penny!
About Me Casual user
Very expensive but so worth it. As I am just starting out on the photography road I wanted a good lense for concert photos and this is it. Easy to use and takes great pictures. Well worth the money.

I've recently moved from using Canon SLR's and finding the M43 format to be just as good. This lens stands up to the Canon f2.8 70-200 lens I used to have. The images coming off the camera are just as good, with great colour saturation and bokeh that is really great! A big surprise and only a fracton of the weight. Really fantastic purchase

High quality build with very nice zoom and focus action, all internal. Quality lens hood included. Image quality is very impressive. Makes the perfect high quality all-round set with the Panasonic 12-35mm if you're not into constantly changing primes. Until Olympus do the equivalent, the best in class for my E-M5, on which it produces minimal CA. Expensive, yes, but not compared to full frame equivalents.

Wonderful lens, sharp, contrasty, fast
Superb lens, images are sharp, nice contrast and colour. My favourite Canon lens was the 70-200 f2.8 L IS; this lens is a great match at equivalent focal length. Have printed images from lens at A3 - no issues that I can detect. Nice and light and complete zoom is within the barrel. Terrific lens.
A must have lens for Micro Four Thirds
I use this lens on a Panasonic AF-101 and also a GH2. F2.8 performance is great. It's expensive but well worth the price.
