I use this to see my photos in the way they should look, before using this product my prints could look vastly different to what was on screen. Now they're perfect and this has the bonus of adjusting the brightness and contrast in real time to compensate for ambient lighting conditions in the room you are working in.

Love the little gadget though it is small and quite delicate so you do need to look after it.

I bought the huey pro about a month ago and its one of the worst purchases iv made it produces a horrible green cast across everything I work on and iv got to the point where I just dont calibrate anymore its that bad, iv been onto Pantone about it and they have not replied, i would heavily recommend not buying this product as alot of people have had this problem.

Bought this mostly as a compromise between price and recommendation, but haven't regretted it at all.

The difference it will make to your screen is amazing, and the confidence you will get from knowing that what you're looking at is correct cannot be underestimated.

The unit itself feels a little bit fragile, but it comes packaged with screen cleaning wipes and a microfibre cloth, and a USB extension cable.

On the whole calibration was simple- the only slightly confusing stage was setting Brightness and Contrast on the monitor itself- in the end I just went for 75% for each and let the Huey do the rest.

Ambient light measuring is a nice feature, and does make subtle but important differences to account for different lighting conditions.

The HueyPro does 2 jobs: the initial (and ongoing) colour calibration of your monitor(s), and the real time monitoring of the ambient light conditions in order to adjust the monitor display for optimum colour rendition and clarity as you work. Very easy to set up and use, supports multiple monitors and available at a very good price relative to competing products. Colour calibration of my monitor took a couple of minutes and the difference (shown using the before and after comparison facility) was very clear. I now have confidence that the colour I see on screen is consistently reliable. Highly recommended.

You spend hours on processing your photos and rely on the calibration of your monitor - either as delivered by the manufacturer or by periodically undertaking a manual calibration.

The Huey Pro comes in a well packaged box, is simple to set-up and install. Calibration is simple with easy to follow instructions. Once completed, just leave it to do its thing and it will subtly change the settings as the ambient light changes.

The cable from the sensor to your USB is a bit flimsy - it's thinner than most wires used to connect your camera/mp3 etc. I can see it being damaged if you're not careful.

It took me months before I figured it was worth splashing out and I now ask myself, why did I wait so long!
